People were supported with medicines, however processes were not always effective in identifying errors and did not always provide information on best practice... Records of controlled drugs (CDs) were not accurate.

The registered manager and regional manager were very open and transparent... One staff member told us, “Ever since the registered manager was here, they have been fantastic. The registered manager has improved Gilburn entirely.”
People were supported to access the local community... Connections with groups and activities people enjoyed such as a monthly social disco... people planned days out to other parts of the country.
