We reviewed 3 staff recruitment files and found staff were recruited safely. We saw staff had received appropriate training in crises prevention and learning disability. The manager had booked in future training courses for Makaton training.
Staff told us they felt well supported in their roles by the manager. A staff member told us. “It’s a lovely place to work now. Even [the manager] has jumped in to do personal care, I’ve never seen that before.”
People had access to a range of activities and entertainment to support their health and well-being... “[Person] now has an activity timetable, with lots of options. [Staff] are trying to add more things, and there’s more onsite activity for [person].”
