A relative told us there were enough staff to support people. Staffing levels were planned based on people’s dependency and individual needs and were stable and consistent.
Staff received training and management support to meet the range of people’s individual needs. A staff member told us, “I get regular training…we do have supervision meetings. Once every three months.”
The registered manager was experienced, knowledgeable and well regarded by people, relatives and staff. They worked directly with the registered manager alongside the staff team daily.
Activities were undertaken by staff as part of their day to day duties. This meant these were done on an ad hoc basis rather than structured and focussed on people’s individual needs.
