Staff knew how to safeguard people from abuse. People's medicines were managed safely. There were robust procedures to ensure risks to people's safety were identified, assessed and managed.

Staff were extremely well supported with induction, training, supervision and an annual appraisal of performance. Training was specific to the needs of people living at Frinton House including autism awareness and sign along.
There was excellent leadership in the home and the registered manager had an open door policy which staff valued. Staff spoke very highly of the support they received from the registered manager.
Extensive work had been taken to increase the variety and range of activities including attending college courses, aromatherapy, drumming classes, Calm Farm, voluntary work and trips to places of interest.
