Medicines were managed safely. The provider had systems in place to safeguard people from abuse. Staff had assessed the risks people faced such as those associated with skin integrity and falls.

There was a positive, person-centred culture at the service. Staff were very satisfied with the management of the service and felt confident in raising any issues.

There were enough staff to keep people safe. People and staff told us there were enough staff to meet their needs.

Per 2018 comprehensive inspection: Staff had the right skills, knowledge and experience to deliver effective care and support. Records showed staff received training which enabled them to carry out their roles effectively. Staff received regular supervision with a manager.

People told us the service was well run and the registered manager was approachable. Staff were very satisfied with the management of the service and felt confident in raising any issues.

Per 2018 comprehensive inspection: The provider employed an activity co-ordinator who was focused on creating an activity program for people. Staff comments included outings, animals like donkeys and reptiles, playing games or doing craft work.
