During our inspection visit we observed care that was rushed and task focused during some parts of the day. This meant staff did not always deliver person-centred care or respect people’s wishes.
Staff had received appropriate training to support them to carry out their role effectively and safely.
Governance and audit systems had not identified the issues found during the inspection, nor had required actions from these been acknowledged or completed.
The service worked in close partnership with a number of different community groups, collaborating, for example, with a variety of local churches and also the local brownies. People undertook regular outings into the community.
