New manager has only been there a few weeks and is still getting to know residents' care plans and monitoring systems.

The new manager had only been in post a few weeks at the time of this assessment, and needed to familiarise themselves fully with people’s care plans, as well as the new systems that had been put into effect.

Only standard training like safeguarding and disability support covered, no specialist courses or funded qualifications mentioned.

Staff completed safeguarding training. Staff completed training related to supporting people with a learning disability/autistic people which was organised by the provider.

Staff team is still coming together after past issues, so morale and teamwork are not yet strong.

The manager said, “We need to work as a team which probably wasn’t here before, we are trying.”
