Staff received a good range of support including regular training. Staff told us training was appropriate and gave them the skills to meet people's needs. Training records showed staff training was kept up-to-date. Staff received regular supervision and appraisal.
People were positive about the management of the service and told us the deputy manager was very supportive and approachable. A new manager had recently been appointed following the sudden resignation of the registered manager in July 2019.
The provider employed two activity coordinators to ensure one worked each day [...] Activities included; Singers, church and choir visits, armchair exercise, reminiscence, shopping trips, cinema afternoon, pub nights, pampering [...], baking, games and bingo. People enjoyed trips out.
