There were systems to protect people from the risk of abuse... the provider notified us of an allegation of abuse involving staff and people in the home... appropriate action had been taken to investigate the incident and the local authority safeguarding team had been involved.
Staff told us there was an open-door policy and they could approach the management team with any issues. A staff member said, '[Registered manager] is very nice and very approachable. We can go to them with any issues and they will resolve it.'
