The manager left during the inspection, and they do not always follow up on issues found in quality checks and staff surveys.

In a pre-planned move, the registered manager had left their position by day two of the inspection... actions identified were not always evidenced as being carried out.

Only basic activities like games, walks, and trips to cafes, and residents and staff say more are needed.

There were activities for people. These included games, walks, watching films, music and books... visiting café's and shopping. There were comments by staff and in residents meetings and surveys that more activities were needed.

Staffing is adequate but nothing special, with recruitment checks that still need to be made stronger.

There were enough staff to meet people's needs. Staff went through a recruitment process... though this needed to be made more robust.
