People told us they were often bored with little to do. While there were some planned events, people were not always engaged in meaningful activities or given opportunities for regular, informal chats with staff.

Staffing levels are enough for safety but tight at mealtimes and mornings, so no time for unhurried chats.

Staff told us they felt there was not enough staff on duty at busy times such as during the mornings or mealtimes. They told us more staff would mean they could spend more time with people.

Only basic training like moving people and medication, no funded specialist courses or career development.

Records showed they received training in areas such as medication, moving and handling, supporting people living with specific conditions and health and safety.
