Medicines management was safe and followed good practice guidance. Accident and incidents were reported, recorded and analysed with lessons learnt shared with staff to prevent reoccurrences.

Staff received training in areas relevant to their roles, such as dementia care, food and nutrition, effective communication, fire safety, moving and handling, infection prevention and control and medicines administration.

Leaders were visible and accessible. There was a culture of openness, inclusion and person-centred care practises.

Per 2019 comprehensive inspection: The provider employed an activities co-ordinator every weekday afternoon. The activities co-ordinator undertook group activities but also spent time with people in their rooms if they chose to stay there.
