Improvements were found at this assessment and the provider was no longer in breach of these regulations. Staff demonstrated a strong understanding of safeguarding... some inconsistencies in infection control and medicines management had the potential to affect people, but the provider acted promptly.

the provider was open, present in the service and responsive to concerns, which helped create a culture where staff felt confident to speak up and issues were addressed quickly. Although the staff team were familiarising themselves with the management style of the leadership team, they told us they felt well supported.

Staffing levels were regularly reviewed to ensure safe and effective care. call bells were answered promptly, and new staff received thorough inductions.

Staff had received appropriate training through a combination of face-to-face sessions and e-learning, and records showed a marked reduction in gaps. The provider had an ongoing training plan in place, which was reviewed regularly.

People were supported to take part in a varied programme of meaningful activities. Staff offered sessions throughout the week... A local nursery visited monthly, and schools, a charity, youth theatre groups and singers came in regularly. Weekly exercise classes helped people stay active.
