Some issues with storing unused medicines and recording thickeners in drinks, though no harm happened and they fixed it straight away.

Not all best practice process was in place, particularly regarding the storage of waste medicines and the formal recording of thickeners in drinks. However, we found no evidence of harm and once we brought this to the registered manager's attention positive action was taken.

Staffing is adequate with enough staff day and night, but no info on staff staying long-term or agency worker use.

Staffing levels were safely managed... People told us... 'There are enough staff day and night' and, 'We never have to wait for care to be provided.'

Only standard mandatory training plus some specialist courses, no funded qualifications or career development paths.

Staff completed mandatory training and additional training for complex health conditions... Breakpoint reviews provided staff with the opportunity to have supervision with a line manager.
