The registered manager had implemented an improved system of assessing and recording potential risks to people's safety and well-being. Staff recorded any incidents and accidents in detail. Medicines were safely received, stored, administered.
Staff were motivated and enjoyed strong team work, they felt well supported by the registered manager. Staff felt listened to and told us the registered manager's door was always open if they needed support.
There was enough staff on duty to enable people to remain safe and receive care in a timely way. Since our last inspection the provider had increased the number of staff on duty.
This included dementia training for all staff delivered by a qualified dementia coach. Staff completed the Care Certificate... as well as higher level national vocational qualifications. They received regular supervision.
