We saw happy interactions between staff and people, as well as between staff... Supervision records showed that staff were receiving regular individual support and staff said that they were being well supported by their managers

The provider had ensured there were sufficient numbers of staff deployed... However, some relatives, staff and professionals had said over the past few months that there were not enough staff. The service had recently completed recruiting additional staff... recruitment of 14 new staff including nurses since Feb 2024

Staff were well trained and competent in their jobs... Staff and managers told us the training being provided had improved considerably recently... records showing that staff were not only receiving their basic mandatory training but also more specialist training

In March 2024 a new manager joined the service and, together with the support of the provider... the new management team had made significant improvements... However, most of these improvements had only been in place for a short time, and so these improvements were yet to be fully embedded
