Staff training has gaps in key areas like safely moving people, communication skills, and autism awareness.

Training records identified gaps in training for some staff, including practical training in moving and handling, communication training and nationally recognised training in autism awareness.

Recruitment records have conflicting dates and incomplete job histories that weren't properly checked.

we identified some of the records contained conflicting information, which was not followed up by the registered manager. Examples included dates on references received for staff which did not match the dates staff had given on their application form and employment histories which did not contain full information.

Activities are a basic range of group and individual ones with no dedicated coordinator or special programmes.

We observed people participating in a range of group and individual activities, with staff supporting people where needed.
