People were supported to receive their medicines in a way that was not always safe. People's medicines records were not always accurate. We found nurses had signed the application of a prescribed emollient cream on the Medicines Administration Record (MAR), to one person living at the home when they had not applied the cream... The staff used the same medicine which was not prescribed but held in stock and administered it.
All staff were positive and motivated in their role. This supported a positive atmosphere and environment for people to live in.
