Staff had the knowledge and confidence to identify safeguarding concerns... Managers investigated incidents appropriately. People were protected and kept safe.

Staff received appropriate supervisions and team meetings where they were able to feedback any concerns or implement changes. Staff told us, “We work together to improve people’s lives, we are a team.”

People told us there was enough staff... A relative told us, “There is now, I think they are fully staffed. There was a time when there weren’t enough, months ago, but not now.”

We found staff had the right training to be able to support people. The provider had a training program in place for all staff to complete whilst they were employed at the service.

Staff told us, “He has made a difference with the team since he arrived. We are more organised,” and “The manager is quite new... he is quite approachable, and he comes up to us.”

People said, “There are lots of activities... garden parties... kid goats and guinea pigs, celebrated Valentines Day and had pizza days... event... to do with Leeds football.”
