People received safe care because staff learned from safety alerts and incidents. The home manager kept a monthly log of incidents and recorded any actions that needed to be taken and shared with staff.

Staff felt respected, supported and valued by senior staff which supported a positive and improvement-driven culture.

The service had enough staff, including for one-to-one support for people to take part in activities and visits how and when they wanted. We observed enough staff on the day of inspection to support people to attend a charity music concert.

People were supported by staff who had received relevant and good quality training in evidence-based practise. This included training in the wide range of strengths and impairments people with a learning disability and or autistic people may have, mental health needs, communication tools, positive behaviour support, trauma-informed care, human rights and all restrictive interventions.
