Staff had training on how to recognise and report safeguarding concerns and they knew how to do so. The registered manager worked with other agencies to investigate concerns. There were suitable systems in place to support people to receive their medicines as prescribed and these were managed well.

A member of staff told us, "Everyone talks to everyone and everyone pulls their weight, everyone's helpful." Staff said the registered manager and deputy manager were approachable and "very supportive".

There were enough staff to meet people's needs, although they were busy at times. Staff told us they felt there were enough of them on shift.

Staff completed an induction and a range of training so they were competent to meet people's needs and preferences. This included end of life care, promoting communication, dementia awareness, diabetes management, first aid and an introduction to Parkinson's Disease.

Staff said the registered manager and deputy manager were approachable and "very supportive". One person told us, "The manager is very hands on."

Per 2021 comprehensive inspection: The provider employed an activity co-ordinator who arranged a variety of group and individual activities on a daily basis, which care workers then provided support to. An external activities provider also came every two weeks to do arts and crafts.
