Some staff described how difficult recent months had been and that morale was currently low... further work was needed to improve both staff morale and the culture in the home.

some people and staff told us high turnover of staff adversely impacted on the ability to fully meet people's needs. A staff member said, 'The turnover of staff is terrible at the minute.'

Evidence was not available to show new staff had completed an in-depth induction programme and had reached the required standards. We recommend the provider reviews the induction programme for new staff.

At the time of our inspection there was not a registered manager in post. The manager had applied to register and was awaiting a decision.
