We could not be assured people received their medicines as prescribed because the systems to support safe medicines practices were ineffective. Accurate records were not always kept showing how much of a person's medicine was in stock.
Staff spoke of a culture of learning supported by the registered manager which meant they felt confident to report any errors in their practice. One staff member commented, 'I like the inclusivity here. It is a safe place and I really enjoy it.'
