We identified some improvements were needed in people's care plans and risk assessments because they were not always up to date... one person’s care plan was not updated with the most recent changes to their diet and as a result this person was at increased risk of choking.
Staff felt valued by leaders and colleagues. Staff comments included, “We have lovely family like environment, staff support each other.” “Managers are very supportive.” Staff felt confident to speak up and raise any concerns.
Leaders recently changed the way they delegated staff and increased staffing levels... reduced use of agency staff and driving recruitment. Everyone noted positive changes to staffing levels and we observed there was enough staff.
