Staff were trained in safeguarding and felt confident about identifying and reporting concerns. Risk assessments were clear and reviewed regularly. Medicine administration was recorded on Medicine Administration Record (MAR) charts. We checked a sample of these and found them to be completed accurately.
Staff were positive about working at the home and told us they received good support and training. Staff told us communication was good and that staffing levels, in the main worked well. We saw that there was a calm and positive atmosphere within the home.
