Working at Bryony Park Nursing Home

Medicines were managed safely. Staff had received training in administering medicines and had their competencies assessed regularly. People were protected from the risk of abuse. Lessons were learned from incidents and learning was shared with the staff team.

There was a positive staff culture which helped to achieve good outcomes for people. One staff member said, 'I feel fully supported by the registered manager and the staff at Bryony Park, it's such a nice place to work and everyone is very caring.'

The management team led by example, they were highly visible and known to staff, people and relatives. One relative commented, 'Since the registered manager has been in post the changes have been really positive, it can only get better.'
