Staff spoke positively about the support they received from the manager. One member of staff told us, "I think [manager] is good. Approachable and good at what she does."
The service was heavily reliant on agency staff which meant that people often did not get to know the staff supporting them.
Staff had received regular training and an induction to enable them to meet people's needs. We saw records to support this.
At the time of our inspection there was not a registered manager in post, however the manager had started the application process to become registered with CQC.
People did not have enough opportunities to engage in meaningful activities that met their needs. Whilst we saw people in one part of the service had access to a wide range of activities other people in another part of the service did not.

We spend so much time telling agency staff what to do, it takes a lot of our time and sometimes it can feel like our work has doubled.
