People were supported by staff who had received training in, and understood, how to protect them from avoidable harm... Medicines were stored and managed in a safe way, in line with best practice guidance.
There was a positive and open culture at the home... Staff told us they enjoyed providing people's care. Staff commented on the registered manager being approachable and there was a strong sense of teamwork.
We saw there were sufficient staff to respond to people's needs without unnecessary delay, and call bells were generally answered promptly. The registered manager had worked hard to improve the recruitment of permanent staff.
