People were kept safe and staff were knowledgeable about reporting any incidents of harm. Medicines were administered safely to people. Accidents and incidents were recorded... and analysed.
Staff showed that they knew people well. Staff were complimentary of each other... 'we all work well together'... Staff told us they were very proud to be part of a team that delivered a good level of care.

New members of staff underwent a period of induction, in line with the national Care Certificate... To enable staff to provide care to people who were living with dementia all staff received training in dementia care.

People and relatives had mixed views about the activities available at the service. One person told us, 'I do get bored but I suppose that's how it is.' 'I would like trips out.' ... activities could be more personalised and take into account peoples individual interest and abilities.
