No permanent manager registered with the regulator, even though one had applied and was running things.

There was no registered manager in post during the time of the inspection. However, a manager had been appointed and they had submitted their application for registration to the CQC.

Activities not always available or delivered as planned, so the role is mostly routine personal care.

Meaningful activity was not always provided to people. Activity records showed people were not always offered daily activities. People did not receive their one to one commissioned hours.

Staffing is adequate but relies on regular agency workers covering shifts.

The service used a mixture of permanent staff and regular agency staff.
