Staffing is adequate to meet needs but some relatives say they could use more staff as everyone works very hard.

One relative said, 'I think they could do with a couple more staff, they all work very hard.' Another said, 'I think they could do with more but then it's the same everywhere.'

Training is up to date on most topics but staff skills like blood taking are not routinely checked for competency.

Nurses commented that they felt well trained however competency assessments were not always completed.

Activities include variety like tai chi and sensory sessions with two coordinators but no specialist programmes or innovations.

A range of activities were provided and the activities coordinators worked to provide physical and mental stimulation for people.
