Safety processes have big gaps like not reporting safeguarding concerns to authorities right away and leaving the medicines room unlocked with drugs unsecured.

the provider had failed to raise a safeguarding alert with the local authority... the medicines door had not been locked and had been left on the latch... new month’s supply of medication had been delivered and left unsecured

Staffing is okay with no issues reported but nothing extra like low agency use or enough staff for really personalised unhurried care.

Staff told us they had no concerns regarding staffing levels and we observed people were responded to in a timely manner.

Only basic activities like themed cultural days and occasional outings with no dedicated coordinator or special programmes to make the job more varied.

During the assessment, a Multi-cultural Day took place... People had been asked where they would like to visit next and were looking forward to an upcoming day trip to Blackpool.
