The provider had a proactive and positive culture of safety, based on openness and honesty. Staff listened to concerns about safety and investigated and reported safety events.

Staff shared positive feedback about their management team and other staff members, which contributed to a collaborative work environment. Staff said they felt listened to and that they could raise concerns or make suggestions without fear of judgement.

During our assessment, staff attended to people in a timely manner. Staff did not appear rushed and took their time with people.

There were arrangements in place to ensure staff completed induction training, kept up to date with mandatory training and staff received supervision from their line manager.

Leaders were visible, knowledgeable and supportive, helping staff develop in their roles. Staff felt supported to give feedback and were treated equally, free from bullying or harassment.
