No permanent manager in place, even though the owner works there daily and keeps good oversight.

A registered manager was not in post with the last manager deregistering in October 2018. The nominated individual was managing the service on a daily basis

Staffing is adequate with shifts always covered, but no info on low staff turnover or workloads light enough for unhurried care.

There were enough staff deployed to ensure people received safe and appropriate care. Staff told us that shifts were always covered and people always received their contracted hours

No dedicated activities coordinator or specialist programmes, just basic games, outings and community trips to vary the routine care.

People were assisted to take part in a range of activities based on their preferences. This included games around the home, football in the community, trips out for meals and to a disco
