The system for managing and recording of safeguarding concerns had been improved and was now detailed and robust. Medicines administration was managed safely by competent and trained staff.
One staff member said, “We are a really good team now and have worked hard to make things better for everyone.” Another told us, “The manager has made such a difference. Morale is good and my role and responsibility is clear.”

Staff were up to date with their required training. Staff received regular supervision which recorded discussions and performance.
There was a new manager employed since the last inspection. We found them to be a capable, compassionate, knowledgeable and inclusive leader and role model. They were well respected by people, family members and staff who found them approachable, communicative and transparent.
People were supported to participate in their chosen social and leisure interests on a regular basis. People's care plans provided information about what they enjoyed doing, and records, photos and images evidenced that people’s lives had meaning and fulfilment.
Only standard training to stay up to date, no specialist courses or funded qualifications for career growth.
