Systems used for the management of medicines were not always safe... gaps in the Medication Administration Records (MAR)... some people had not received their medicines consistently.
People and their relatives spoke positively about the culture of the home since the new provider had taken over. Staff we spoke with were positive about the changes that had taken place.
There were enough staff to safely support people. Most of the staff we spoke with were positive about staffing levels. One staff member told us, 'I think there are enough of us (staff), I have no concerns.'
Staff received an induction and on-going training and support which helped them carry out their roles effectively. One staff member told us, 'My training has been good.'
