We identified 1 safeguarding referral which had not been sent to CQC. A recent fire inspection showed the home was not compliant with fire regulations.
There was an open and positive culture. Staff told us they felt part of a team. One staff member said, 'One thing I love doing here is the care. Managers make sure they have the right policies and procedures.'
We looked at rotas which showed appropriate staffing levels in place for the service. Agency staff had been used; however, these were consistent staff to ensure continuity for people. Staff were not always recruited safely.
