Staff described a culture that was respectful of diversity and created positive teamwork. A staff member told us, “The best thing about the home is the culture. We have a diverse staff group and we are all treated equally; cultures are respected and valued.”

There were enough staff with the right skills, qualifications and experience. The provider made sure there were enough qualified, skilled and experienced staff.

Managers made sure staff received training and regular supervision to meet people’s needs and to maintain staff wellbeing. Staff completed training in areas identified as necessary for the service, including training on how to support people with a learning disability or autistic people.

The registered manager was praised for being open and approachable and supportive of diversity. Staff told us the registered manager was approachable and supportive.
