During our visit we observed a nurse administering medication to a person who was laying sideways. The person was at risk of and prone to developing pneumonia.
Staff we spoke with told us they felt the service was always improving and the team work well together. One staff member told us, ‘We work well as a team, morale is good. Management always includes us’.
There were enough staff with the right skills, qualifications and experience.
Managers made sure staff received training and regular appraisals to maintain a standard of care.
