We found some instances of risk assessments not being followed. For example, some people were assessed as being at risk of developing pressure ulcers and required pressure relieving mattresses... these were not always set at the correct setting.
Staff told us it was a good company to work for and spoke positively about the management at the service. A person who used the service said, “It’s a happy place, the [staff] all seem to get on well together.”
There were enough staff to support people in a way that was safe. Staff told us they had enough time to carry out their duties.
Staff undertook regular training which provided them with the knowledge and skills required to support people. Staff also had 1:1 meetings with a senior staff member.
