Medicines were administered safely and information recorded correctly although when a person refused medicines this needed to be reviewed with more urgency than awaiting the monthly audit.
The staff felt supported by the senior team and registered manager. A member of staff told us, 'I like working here because we have a good team and help each other.'
People were supported by sufficient members of staff to meet their assessed needs.
All staff received regular supervision, training arranged by the registered manager and an annual appraisal to discuss their performance and plan their future development.
Quality assurance systems had not been fully implemented as yet although work was progressing.
