People were supported by staff who understood the risks they faced. Risks were safely managed and monitored. Medicines were safely managed.

People were cared for by staff who cared about and supported their colleagues. Staff felt part of a strong team with a shared purpose. Staff felt supported by the senior team.

There were sufficient numbers of staff to meet people's needs and keep them safe. Staff all told us that there were enough staff to ensure people's needs were met.

Staff told us they felt supported and that they had access to the training they needed to undertake their roles effectively. Refresher training that was considered mandatory by the provider had been completed or was scheduled.

People and relatives spoke highly of the approachability of the registered manager and the changes they had initiated and embedded.

Per 2021 comprehensive inspection: An activities coordinator had been appointed and they were working enthusiastically to increase the range of activities available to people. Alongside group activities they spent their time with people who were isolated in their rooms.
