People did not always receive their medicines as prescribed. For example, people who were prescribed medicines which must be taken at specific times or with specific time intervals between doses were not always given their medicines at the right times.
Staff told us they were proud to work at Aberford Hall and many staff had been in place for a long time. They felt the manager led by example to ensure a positive culture had been created.

Staff completed nationally recognized training such as the care certificate or diplomas in social care and nursing and had support, supervision and staff meetings to share learning and review performance.
