"Staff feel well supported with good teamwork, but crazy long shifts, unsafe medicines and poor oversight put people at risk."
The provider did not manage medicines in a safe way. Parts of the environment were not safe or clean. The provider’s systems for managing fire safety were not sufficient to protect people. Risks to people’s safety and wellbeing were not always assessed or planned for.

Medication is not handled safely with unlocked cabinets and missed doses when people go out.
Medicines were not always stored correctly or safely. Upon arrival at the service, we found 1 medicine cabinet was unlocked with the door open... Staff did not take the medicine with them and therefore this was not administered when the person needed it.
