Working at 50 Vassall Road

We were assured the service was following safe infection prevention and control procedures to keep people safe (2020 inspection). Per 2017: People's medicines were managed safely within the service.

Per 2017 comprehensive inspection: There was a culture of mutual respect between the registered manager, staff and those who lived at 50 Vassall Road. The staff team were proud of the service.

Per 2017 comprehensive inspection: Staff had attended training in a range of relevant subjects. These included a course about learning disability issues, mental health issues, health and safety matters, food hygiene, first aid, and infection control and medicines management.

Per 2017 comprehensive inspection: The staff we met also told us that the registered manager always gave them a great deal of time and support both formally and throughout the day.

Per 2017 comprehensive inspection: The registered manager had started an online group... Zumba class, a film group, and a drum class... people had gained in self-confidence attending classes and activities.
