Not all medicines were stored securely... there were some out of date medicines that were stored in a cabinet without a locking device inside the office. We discussed this with the registered manager, who took steps to dispose of these medicines in the immediate aftermath of our inspection.

There were enough staff working at the service to keep people safe. Staff told us they had enough time to carry out their duties. We observed there were enough staff during our inspection to support people safely.
Staff received regular training and 1:1 supervision to support them in their role. This included training about care planning, autism awareness and the Mental Capacity Act.
