The provider had effective systems and processes in place to ensure people were protected from the risk of avoidable harm, neglect and abuse... prioritised people’s safety which was nurtured through a culture of openness and transparency where concerns... were reported and investigated quickly.

Staff consistently reported the management team had created a blame free culture where staff were encouraged and supported to raise concerns which were acted upon. Staff spoke with pride about the open and transparent culture within the service.

The provider had a comprehensive training plan... introduced a new system to facilitate opportunities for staff to support their continued professional development. Development of different levels within each role meant there was a clear career progression pathway.

Staff praised the registered manager who consistently led by example and was a great role model. They told us the registered manager was ‘brilliant’, highly visible, approachable and the management team as being “really supportive and approachable.”
