Everyone we spoke with told us they felt safe... The management of medicines was satisfactory... Records showed that accidents and incidents had been managed well... positive risk taking was consistently at the forefront.
Staff we spoke with all told us they were happy working at the home... Staff members we observed appeared to enjoy their work... 'I am happy working here... The [registered] manager is fantastic.'

The training matrix demonstrated that staff received a wide range of mandatory learning modules, as well as additional training courses specific to those who lived at the home.
The registered manager demonstrated sound leadership and in-depth knowledge... We received very positive comments from everyone we spoke with about the registered manager... Staff: 'The [registered] manager is fantastic and approachable. I feel like I can raise any issues with her.'
The home had introduced the 'recovery star'... bespoke training... about mindfulness. A weekly mindfulness walk had subsequently been introduced... People were learning new skills such as cooking and photography.
